Born in Hawaii in 1977, Sarah was always curious and looking for ways to express herself creatively. In 1991, her world was turned upside down when her family moved to a rural town in Southeast Alabama. Never feeling like she fit in, Sarah quickly found a place amongst the artists in school. After high school, she went on to earn a degree in communication and fine arts from Troy University. During her senior year of college, she accepted an internship at NBC Studios in Burbank, California. Following her internship and a brief stint as a publicity assistant, Sarah went on to work as the production receptionist at the prestigious John Wells Productions at Warner Bros. Studios. During her time at Warner Bros., she enjoyed the experiences of working for and with some of the industry's most talented writers, directors, producers, and actors.

Sarah later returned to Alabama and enrolled in a master's of education. She's been employed by Pike County Schools since 2004.

After a decade of teaching, Sarah has returned to her creative roots, launching her own production company, SarahFinah Films.
